Oculus Rift VR Headset Just Hit the Stores in the UK!

Finally, it’s here! The Oculus VR is now available to you in the UK at various selected retailers. If you live in the UK, you no longer have to get the VR Headset exclusively online, incurring extra shipping costs.

licensed Outlets

Among the shops you’ll be able to purchase your Oculus headset are the Game, John Lewis, Harrods, Curry’s PC World and Amazon. All around the country, several other stores are also offering demos to VR fans; demos are available at Peter Jones located on Sloane Square, John Lewis at Oxford Street, Game on Westfield Stratford City as well as Harrods.

To find a demo store near you, simply access the Oculus website.

A price shift

Given that the Oculus Rift VR headset was retailing at £499 before shipping, the new RRP is slightly higher at £549; the slight markup, when compared with the extra shipping costs, seems like a fair trade.

Oculus is this October set to offers demos of the Touch controllers throughout all its globally. You heard it first from us!
